Andrea believes in an integrated approach to yoga: an assimilation of anatomical knowledge, spiritual intention, and focused breathing. A commitment to deepen her own knowledge led to teaching and she approaches every class with respect for each student and their personal dedication to learning. Confronting the struggles of modern life and finding a way to bring balance and equilibrium back into our lives is a constant theme in her class. A challenging vinyasa flow helps people learn the physical structure and possibilities of their own bodies. Andrea has been a yoga practitioner for twelve years and is a graduate of New York Yoga's 200-hour teacher training program, as well as a current trainee in the 300-hour teacher program. She thanks her teachers and friends at New York Yoga for their continued support and their deep sense of community.
