Sara moved to New York City five years ago with a B.A. in journalism and worked in television post-production for HBO and later, TruTV. Yoga however was her true calling. Sara was always an athlete and excelled in track & field and tennis. However when Sara first stepped onto her yoga mat almost a decade ago, she fell in love. Her love of yoga became bigger than any sport she had ever played. Not long after Sara began her yoga practice, she realized her self-esteem and appreciation for her body grew tenfold. By connecting the breath with the movements of the body one step at a time, Sara began to understand and respect all of her capabilities both on and off the mat. Her capabilities, she realized, were endless.
Sara's powerful Vinyasa sequences are built around trusting the body while allowing the breath to lead the way. Students are encouraged to dig deeper, breathe deeper, and explore the beauty and power of their bodies, one asana (pose) at a time. Simpy believe you can, and you will.
